Video + Motion
In order to tell a story through video you have to first master the tools it takes to do so. From the latest editing software to fully equipped edit suites, we’ve gathered the right physical tools. However, physical tools are only the beginning, a dedication to staying on the forefront of design trends, editing techniques, and current events has kept us adept and relevant.
But that’s not enough to tell a great story, you also need attention to detail and the ability to step back and ask if your approach is right for the project; you need to look at your project through someone else’s eyes. This is the magic step that is often times skipped over in this industry. At Strive, it’s present throughout the production and post-production process. We make sure the concept and approach are consistent with the goals set at the onset of the project.

Web-Based Apps
For too long, consumers have had to accept mediocrity when it comes to their interactions on the Internet, or on the computer, or on their cell phones. This shouldn’t be the case. At Strive, we also use the Internet, computers, and cell phones; and they piss us off too.
Believe it or not, the fault doesn’t lie in the programmers; the applications work, they just don’t work how you want them to, or expect them to. The fault lies in the approach. Most applications are too complex for their own good. The programmers have added features, and complexity, in order to try and appeal to everyone. The result is a calculator that also teaches you Spanish. Instead, applications solve specific problems, unique to the situation. In order to accomplish this, you need to ask the right questions during the design process, you need to consider how the application is actually going to be applied, and then design it around that experience.
The best applications are the ones that don’t need user manuals; they’re intuitive. That’s where we come in. We simplify.
